Bradley Village
Bradley sits on the outskirts of Skipton alongside the Leeds/Liverpool canal. The village has a population of approximately 1500 people and has boundary edges in both West and North Yorkshire.
The village club was formed in 1875 in order to offer recreation to the workers from the adjacent textile mill. Over the clubs 130 years one thing has remained - its location. Arguably the nicest ground in the Craven & District league it offers extensive views from across the Aire Valley right through to Pendle.

Club History
The inception of league cricket in Craven began in 1895 with the Craven Cricket Union some twenty years after Bradley CC were formed. Even at an early stage Bradley were setting records within the league. In 1920 the 1st XI set a league record which still stands today! They achieved the best bowling by any 1st XI in Craven league history by amazingly bowling out Kelbrook for just 4 runs.
Bradley are proud of their history and non more so than in the individual league standings . The club has two bowlers and one batsman on the all-time records list. In 1914 M.Gill took a then record 93 wickets (4th on current list). Twenty three years later C.Pritchard then added 4 more wickets to the total. This record of 97 wickets now sits in 2nd place on the all-time list for most wickets in one season.
On the batting front current player Neil Andrews sits at the top of the pile for number of Craven & District League centuries. His record of 20 league and 2 cup is currently seven better than any other player. He also sits in 4th place on the league list for most runs in one season. He achieved a total of 947 runs in the summer of 1994.
1987 was a good year for Bradley CC and setting league records. On May 2nd Bradley 1st XI tied their league meeting with Embsay at the Bradley Playing Fields, whilst on the same day the 2nd XI also tied their game with Embsay at Shires Lane – this feat is most definitely a unique occurrence and never likely to be achieved again.
On 13th June the same year Tim Rudden and David Manville both achieved the hat-trick in the same innings against Long Lee in the Craven & District League meeting. This is the only time two hat-tricks have been taken by different players in the same innings in Craven history.
